Hi, I’m Nik

I’ve been working in IT since I left university having done a 3 year course in computing, mathematics, business and a side language course in Spanish. In the almost 30 years since leaving university I’ve cut my teeth in all kinds of roles from data input to team leads and field technicians.

Having left the UK with my partner, a doctor, for New Zealand I’ve decided to go it alone and concentrate my efforts on the often forgotten support requirements of sole workers and small businesses. I’ve found, over the years, that having the personal touch is more important than just being the person on the other end of the phone.

What Kind of services can I offer?

I specialise in helping people on a one to one basis. Providing a more personal approach to IT Support. I can help with both support and advice on almost any IT related issue. If you need someone for contract work or consultancy I can provide that too. I can offer ongoing support through monthly subscription or a pay as you go approach. I won’t lock you into a support contract as I want my customers to come back to me because they are happy to, not because you are forced to. You pay for my time and knowledge.

What kind of services won’t I offer?

Sometimes my services are not the right fit for you and if that’s the case I will advise you on why and also point you in the direction required. I don’t believe you should be charged for this, so I won’t, but I will help you to get the support you need.

I operate a zero tolerance policy on harassment, sexism, homophobia, racism, animal cruelty and any other policy designed to exclude or lesser our fellow humans or animal friends. I operate under the safe space rule for both my customers and myself. No exceptions. Be nice.
